David Arrington was born and raised in Dallas, Texas and attended Texas Tech University as a finance major. It was during college that David was introduced to the idea of “a third for a quarter.” With that simple phrase, an oil and gas entrepreneur was born.
After college David knew what career path he wanted to take, so in 1984 he began his own oil company in Midland, Texas. His company has grown from a one man operation to now having multiple offices which include Midland, Ft. Worth, Tuscaloosa, Alabama and Morrillton, Arkansas. While he is passionate about the oil and gas business, he has also been successful in the outdoor advertising, self storage and publishing businesses.
Among his many attributes, David is a devoted husband and father of four and is actively involved in the community. When asked what his interests and hobbies are, he replies, “Everything!” But, he “likes fly fishing a little more than anything else.” A high-energy motivator and risk taker, David has proven that success is attainable with hard work and inventiveness.
